Enrichment Programs
Welcome to the 2021-22 School Year
Please note -
Fallon Science Olympiad
Fallon Science Olympiad is more than just learning about science. It encourages to work as a team towards a shared goal with every subgroup contributing their part. It is also like running a marathon and persistence to participate in 23 events in a day. The topics of study and participation can range from earth sciences to genetics to aeronautical engineering. For more information check Science Olympiad Website. The club will be student and parent funded.
The year 2021-22 competition format is not defined yet but expect the competitions to be hybrid. For competitions requiring physical presence, parents will be required to transport their students.
We are looking to establish teams for 2021-22. Depending upon the number of responses, a written test and or interview may be conducted. The parents will need to support this program throughout the year.
Please click HERE if your student is interested in joining Science Olympiad.
Deadline for registering is September 13, 2021. Test will be held on zoom on September 17,2021. Team will be finalized by September end.
First session will be taking place on Zoom during the first week of October. Classes will be on Fridays 3:30-4:30 PM.

The Speak Square
Public speaking, speech & debate and presentation skills are vital for students to have as they progress through school and pursue leadership and advanced classes at the high school and college level. The Speak Square is a way for middle schoolers to gain public speaking and communication skills which are vital to be successful in this day and age. That means being confident – talking loudly and clearly – and introducing kids to relevant topics of conversation.
The program teaches kids the basics of public speaking – such as how not to stutter – utilizing topics of conversation they’ll often run into while pursuing a STEM education and career in high school and beyond. We believe practice is the best way to teach kids confidence, rhetorical tools, and impromptu speech organization. Kids will attend classes practicing impromptu speeches and public speaking technique weekly, and end the school semester with a speech or presentation on a topic of their choice that expresses what they’ve learned.
Anyone with an interest in bettering their public speaking ability can join, regardless of what experience they might have. This program will be run by high school senior and co-President of Dublin High’s debate team, Diya Vij, over Zoom and Discord. We will meet from 5:00-6:00 every Thursday, with sessions lasting till the end of the semester (the second week of December). Click HERE to signup!

You too can dance from the comfort of your home through online dance sessions and then meet the team for in-person rehearsals and performances! Now you can join the Fallon V'Dezi Bolly-Hiphop Dance workshops and experience a fun filled environment of learning various styles of dance (Bollywood? Hiphop? Indian Folk? Lyrical Hiphop? we got ya covered!) across multiple languages. Whether you are just beginning to explore your dance skills or an experienced dancer, we are sure everyone will enjoy these sessions alike and most importantly meet new students, make new friends, bond and stay connected through trying times! Fallon Scrabble Club
Fallon Scrabble Club - now into its fifth year - aims to introduce students to the world of competitive Scrabble. Students will play many games against each other, learn a bunch of cool and unusual words, and become adept at rack management, board strategy and quick calculations. When they reach a sufficient standard, they can play in outside clubs in the Bay Area against the pros, and perhaps even think about participating in tournaments, leading up to the Scrabble Nationals next Summer!
We will meet once a week after school, on Fridays. We aim to start around the first week of October and train up to 20 students. Please sign up HERE if you are interested in being a part of this exciting PFC enrichment program!
There will be a fee of around $25 per student to help cover equipment and running costs. In the event that there are more than 20 students that perform well on the entrance exam, we will be choosing the final 20 after a few weeks during which the top 25 students will be evaluated on their attendance, motivation, behavior, vocabulary, and of course, demonstrated Scrabble skills!
The final 20 students who are selected after this process will get NASPA (North American Scrabble Players Association) memberships for the duration of the Fallon Scrabble 21-22 season.
- Please check the deadline to register in each flyer/form. Each program has a different deadline & some programs are first come first serve. We are currently offering seven Enrichment Programs.
- For starters, you are welcome to register your child in multiple programs and see if you get in as some are first come first serve and some are placement based. If you get accepted into multiple programs, you will have to choose one program if the programs are wait listed. If the programs don’t have any wait list then you are welcome to get into multiple programs. You will be able to choose two programs if you are a parent lead for any enrichment program.
- We will be performing fingerprinting and background clearance checks on all persons involved in running the programs. For any further questions/concerns, please contact our enrichment directors (Aarti, Ursala and Rimjhim) at [email protected].
